        Founded in 2004, ASMedia became publicly listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 2012 (Stock Code: 5269. TW). We specialize in high-speed IC design and development, and have gained mastery of both the frond-end and back-end development, including digital logic design, analog design, and software development as well as system development. To provide the customers with a better product plan, we collaborate with teams that have a strong capacity to manufacture products and conduct complete testing. We have the ability to research and develop the high-speed physical layer. Our main product lines include high-speed Switch IC, USB, PCIe and SATA controllers. The major domestic motherboard companies as well as the global OEM companies are all our customers.

    Sep. Increased the paid-in capital by NT$29.68 million to NT$600 million through earnings surplus.

    Jan. Exhibited USB3.1 Gen2 retimer and USB3.1 Gen2 to PCI Express Gen3 device controller at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, USA.
    Jun. Exhibited PCI Express Gen3 24-channel packet switch chip at Computex Taipei and entered mass production in July of the same year.

  • 2019
    Jun. We announced and demonstrated the world’s first SuperSpeed USB 20Gbps for USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 controllers for hosts and devices at Computex Taipei 2019. Shipments to interested parties in mass quantities became available at the end of 2019.
    Jun. The annual general meeting (AGM) approved the issuance of 350,000 new restricted employee shares and the application was granted by Taiwan’s Financial Services Commission (FSC) in September 2019.
    Aug. The CommonWeath Magazine 2019 identified ASMedia to be among “Taiwan’s Top 50 Performers.”
    Sep. ASMedia launched the second generation PCIe to SATA controller.

    Oct. The company’s CEO was named among the 2020's Taiwan Top 100 Best-Performing CEOs by Harvard Business Review.

President’s Office
  • Develop the company's strategic plan; set operational goals; monitor and evaluate the implementation and performance of operational objectives.

Audit Office
