We promote safe and healthy working conditions. Any inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment are absolutely prohibited in all circumstances. The wages, benefits and hours of work are all in accordance with the national laws and regulations.
-
We provide the employees with a safe and healthy working environment. Specific measures are taken to protect occupational safety and health. We provide the emergency preparedness and response programs for the employees, and equip them with knowledge and management of occupational injuries and diseases. We also maintain the cleanliness and sanitation in the workplace.
-
We take environmental responsibility by minimizing negative impacts on the society, the environment as well as natural resources during the manufacturing process, which also allows us to protect public health and safety.
-
We comply with the highest ethical standards, including honesty and integrity, zero tolerance for bribery and corruption, avoidance of conflict of interest, protection of and respect for intellectual property rights. We also implement measures to protect the confidentiality of employees when they file safety and health complaints or whistleblower complaints. We guarantee that they shall be protected from retaliation.
Support and Nurture Future Talent
We actively engage in communication with educational institutions to create collaboration opportunities between industry and academia. For instance, we invite industry professionals to share their knowledge and practical experiences with students so that the latter can familiarize themselves with technical knowledge of the industry during their school years. Furthermore, we help to expand students’ horizon by sponsoring them for overseas competitions and organizing international conferences. We aim to establish on-campus talent development programs that will provide students with more hands-on experiences, with the hope that they will be able to contribute more to the workplaces in the future. We are willing and eager to nurture future talent for the industry. Moreover, through campus recruitment, we hope to raise the overall employment rate of young people.

Emergency Relief: (2015~2016)
- We empathize with people’s needs and join emergency fund programs when necessary.
- In 2015, a dust fire occurred at Formosa Fun Coast, a water park in New Taipei City. Many participants were seriously burned and some passed away after serious burn injuries. In 2014, a series of gas explosions occurred in Cianjhen and Lingya districts of Kaohsiung. Nearby residents and several firefighters were severely burned and some died afterwards. ASMedia felt compassion for the victims, and set a good example for others by taking up corporate social responsibility and inviting the employees to donate to the injured victims. We helped those in need be able to receive continuous medical treatment and rehabilitation service, and provided them with support and assistance so that they could rebuild relationships with society. We used our best efforts to help disaster survivors and their families overcome difficulties.
-
Resource Recycling: (2015~2022)
- Second-Hand Treasures: We invite our employees to search for the used items in their homes that are still in good condition but no longer needed, and then collect these treasures and give them to the 5WayHouse organization. By doing this, we not only give new life to unwanted items, but also give children the opportunities to develop their social skills, learn to treasure items and build positive relationships in the community.
- In “Your Old Computer is Their New Hope” campaign, we recycle second-hand computers and give them to schools so that the resources from our company can be properly used in other areas in a sustainable way. This also helps bridge the urban-rural digital divide.
- We join the “Used Shoes Save Lives” campaign organized by Step 30 International Ministries and donate shoes to children in Kenya.
-
Education and Advocacy: (2021~2022)
- Sports Advocacy: We sponsor the WPG Ladies Open to advocate for women in sports. We promote sports awareness and gender diversity in the nation.
- Farm-to-School Program: ASMedia collaborates with the Lovely Taiwan Foundation in the Farm-to-School Program. Based on the three core elements of Organic Diet, Agricultural Education and Community Identity, we help children acquire knowledge about the organic diet, understand the special produce from their hometowns, and develop their own community identity. By participating in the program, we take action to promote our vision of sustainable cities and communities.
- We sponsored the 2021 Protect Forests Experience Camp to promote the concept of “respecting, loving and helping the local communities.” We encourage and help children in rural and remote areas to participate in related camp activities.
-

- Donation of Uniform Invoices: We have been donating uniform invoices to several social welfare organizations, such as the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation and Syin-Lu Social Welfare Foundation.
